The kneeling Fireman holding a hose, replete with breathing equipments, his own helmet. Adjacent to the Fireman is the granite plinth with a Fireman’s Turnout Coat and Helmet dedicated to fallen Fireman. Both objects were cleaned using non-ionic detergent, Biox was used on copper sulfite deposits and both objects had conservators hot wax and cold wax applied. Stains to the plinth had a poultice treatment to lesson the iron stains
