These two statues depict Medieval Falconers that were deployed for hunting. On the rear of the saddle on the 1878 Falconer- viewers can see a hunted rabbit. The statues were washed using non-ionic detergent.  Surface corrosion was minimized using Biox and soft brass brushes.  Two applications of conservator’s hot wax treatment were administered, cooled and buffed.  A cold conservators wax applied and hand buffed.
