TREATMENT: The National Capital Region of the Park Service asked that the statue re-patinized, using a walnut blasting process to remove corrosion and uneven patina finish. We researched and discovered a newer more gentle process using the Armex System utilizing bicarbonate of soda, at a low 70 PSI and water. After the repatination process the the bas relief is 20" tall was sprayed (according to the published specifications) with several coats of lacquer.
