AssesSment

Assessment and Documentation:

MCP will document through written reports, and photographs, the current state of the object.  All notable areas of concern will be fully documented.

Conservation Treatment

We will utilize the methods that halt corrosion, correct any structural defects, and apply the the conservation process most widely accepted by The American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works ( AIC).  Some of the processes are proprietary and will not harm the surface, substrate or compromise the aesthetic of the original artwork.

REstoration

In some cases, objects may have experienced adverse environmental conditions that breaks down the natural patina that has developed over the life of the sculpture and may require minimally invasive restoration services.  Under certain circumstances, the object is returned to its state just after its original casting and is repatinized to its original color.
