SUBJECT:         World War II Battle Scene bas-relief

MEDIUM:          Cast Bronze 

LOCATION:      Army National Guard HQ

                         Arlington, VA

YEAR DED.:    1965 (rededicated) 1991 at this location

TREATMENT:  The National Capital Region of the Park Service asked that the statue re-patinized, using a walnut blasting process to remove corrosion and uneven patina finish   We research and discovered a newer more gentle process using the Armex System utilizing bicarbonate of soda, and water at a low 70 PSI.  After the repatination process the bas relief is ~36"x72" was sprayed (according to the published specifications) with several coasts of lacquer.
