Five (5) bronze plaques and (7) iron markers. throughout The Washington Crossing State Park, Titusville, NJ
Treatment: The bronze plaques had the corrosion on the surface removed using Biox - a natural, organic and non acidic and environmentally safe solution- using ScotchBrite Pads and brass brushes. (4) applications of patina solution was applied to achieve a different colors across the (5) bronze plaques. The iron park markers had the corrosion and rust projects removed using traditional blasting equipment and calcium carbonate as the media. The iron signs were then primed and painted using an automotive primer and the finish coat- matching NJ Park Color standards. Both the primer and finish coats were spray applied using a HVLC spray gun systems.
