The statue was washed using non-ionic detergent and lint free cloths..  Surface corrosion was minimized using soft brass brushes and Scotch Brite 7445 pads.  A conservator’s hot wax treatment was administered, cooled and buffed.  A cold conservators wax applied and hand buffed.
